How do I rid my garden of Bindweed?

It's right through my garden coming through my lawn and patio most weed killers I use don't work! I also want to be careful not to kill my lawn.

How do I rid my garden of Bindweed?
You may be able to get glyphosate gel in a pen, you paint the leaves without spraying all over the place.

Keep an eye out for it and never let it flower, it can spread by seed. Just keep at it, fork it up as soon as you see it if its in a bed. Use the gel stick in areas like your lawn where you don't want to disturb the soil. You can cut the tops off leaving 3 or 4 leaves at the bottom so it doesn't get a chance to bind.
Reply:wots bindweed
Reply:Find the root dig over the area and buy or rent a flame thrower to kill the root and steralise the soil
Reply:It is a case of either killing the ground altogether or digging it over and physically removing every last bit of root. You may try to use herbicides, I believe there is a lawn preparation that feeds the grass and kills the weeds, but the results are not instant and treament may take several seasons.
Reply:Brute force and determination.
