How do you keep peacocks out of a garden?

I only have a few container veggies, but we own 2 peacocks that love to eat them. Please help. I would really love some natural methods. My garden is organic.

How do you keep peacocks out of a garden?
I keep unwanted pests out of my Garden, garage, attic and anywhere else they become a problem, by scattering Moth Balls around where they have become a nuisance.

Try it and see if this works for you, but one thing is that Moth Balls deteriorate quite quickly outdoors, so you may need to refresh them a couple of times a season.

I haven't seen them affect any of my plants but I also set up a moth ball barrier around my fence line as well, and that tends to keep them out altogether. I use 1 per foot of fence line, and crush them on the sidewalks and driveway gate to protect those areas as well. But you will need to adapt your methods for your circumstances, as moth balls are a Respitory Irritant and if overdone may drive your birds away altogether. So just try a little at first and work from there.
Reply:Well, scattering big cat faeces around the garden are reported to deter house cats so maybe try experimenting with ostrich droppings. ;)
