I bought a house this last winter. There was a garden here. some things are starting to sprout up. one is a big bush like with big leaves. the leaves have small prickles on it,but is smooth to the touch.

Take a few cuttings of your trees, plants, or shrubs and visit your local nursery. Do not visit the garden area of a chain warehouse, but a smaller nursery. They will be able to tell you what you want to know...getting rid of plants you don't like and taking care of the ones you love.
